Apply to small areas, about one to two square feet. 2. Dispense a quarter-size drop of material onto a clean, soft, cotton terry cloth towel and apply to the paint surface. 3. Work the area using a firm, circular motion until the rubbing compound is dry. 4. Remove remaining film using a 3M™ Microfiber Detail Cloth (PN 39016) or a clean, soft, cotton terry cloth towel MACHINE 1. Dispense enough compound on the paint surface to work a two-foot by two-foot area. 2. Buff area using an air or electric buffer equipped with a 3M™ Compounding Pad using light to medium pressure. 3. Reduce pressure when compound begins to dry. 4. Remove remaining film using a 3M™ Microfiber Detail Cloth (PN 39016) or a clean, soft, cotton terry cloth towel. 5. To enhance the finish, remove compounding swirl marks using 3M™ One Step Cleaner Wax (PN 39006). • Do not apply in direct sunlight or onto a hot surface • Wash and dry vehicle using 3M™ Car Wash Soap (PN39000) • Liquid compound for ease of use • Fine mineral content leaves minimal swirl marks • Extremely versatile product that is safe for clear coat, lacquer and enamel paint finishes
