This adhesive resists plasticizers and delivers high peel and shear adhesion. A Thin Attachment Tape for a Range of Lightweight Trim and Moldings Our 3M™ Automotive Attachment Tape 06377 is a good choice for permanent attachment of lighter moldings, trims, nameplates and emblems to automotive surfaces. This OEM approved .03" (.76 mm) thick attachment tape is built on a core of medium density closed cell acrylic foam. This foam provides a blend of strength and conformability for a flush, professional appearance even across long applications such as door edge moldings. The tape is 1/2" wide for a versatile range of lightweight parts and applications. The viscoelastic foam core conforms well even to complex geometries. It is engineered for stress relaxation when exposed to high stress loads, and maintains bond-line aesthetics under normal stress loads. A red liner (PDF, 147 Kb) provides easy one-piece release for efficient application.
